Roofing Services in Plano TX | Jackson Roofing
Jackson Roofing is a local crew based in Plano, and this page is the short version of everything we do. If you already know what you need, the links below take you straight to it. If you are not sure, that is normal, and the answer is usually the same: start with a free roof inspection and we will tell you what we actually see up there.
Most people land here after one of three things happened. A storm came through and the neighbors are all getting work done. A stain showed up on a ceiling. Or the roof is simply old enough that it is time to think about it. All three are worth a look, and none of them require you to decide anything on the spot.

Roof Repair
Missing shingles, a leak in the ceiling, a spot on the roof that never looks right after a hard rain. Repair work is about finding the real source of the water, which is very often not directly above where the stain shows up inside. We trace it back, fix that, and check the surrounding area while we are up there so the same leak does not reappear in a different form two months later.
A repair is the right call when the roof as a whole still has life in it and the damage is contained. We will tell you when that is true and, just as importantly, when it is not.
Roof Replacement
Every roof reaches a point where patching it stops being a good use of your money. When that happens, we tear off the old roof, look at the decking underneath, and replace anything that is soft or rotted before the new roof goes on. Skipping that step is how a brand new roof ends up with problems in year two.
Before we start you get a written scope, a timeline, and a clear answer on what happens to the old material and the cleanup afterward. Replacement is disruptive for a day or two, and we would rather you know exactly what that looks like ahead of time.
Storm and Hail Damage Roof Repair
North Texas hail is hard on shingles, and the damage is not always obvious from the ground. We check the shingle surface for bruising and granule loss, then look at the vents, the flashing, and the metal accessories, which usually show hail impact more clearly than the shingles do.
After a storm you will get plenty of knocks on the door. We are happy to give you a second opinion on what somebody else told you, even if you end up going a different direction.
Free Roof Inspection
This is where most of our jobs start. We come out, get on the roof, take photos, and walk you through what we found on your phone or laptop so you can see it yourself. There is no cost and no obligation to book work.
Plenty of these inspections end with us saying the roof is fine and to call us in a couple of years. That is a good outcome, and we would rather tell you that than sell you something you do not need.
Exterior Work
Siding Installation
Cracked, warped, or faded siding is not only a looks problem. Once the exterior surface stops shedding water properly, moisture gets behind it and into the wall structure. We replace failing siding so the outside of the house does its job again.
Window Replacement
Drafty, fogged, or hard to operate windows make the whole house less comfortable and cost you a little more every month. We handle window replacement from the first measurement through the finished install and trim.
Where We Work
We are based in Plano and nearly all of our work is within a short drive of it. Staying in a tight service area is deliberate. It means we know the neighborhoods, we know which storms hit which streets, and we can get back out to you quickly if something needs a second look. These pages cover the work we do in each town.

Common Questions
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
Age and how widespread the damage is. A roof in the back half of its life with damage in several separate places is usually telling you something. One bad section on an otherwise healthy roof is a repair. We will give you our read and the reasoning behind it, not just a number.
Do you charge for the inspection?
No. The roof inspection is free, and you get the photos regardless of whether you hire us.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single family homes in this area are a one to two day job, weather permitting. We give you a specific window when we scope the work.
What if I just want a second opinion?
That is fine and it happens often, especially after a storm. Book the free inspection and we will tell you what we see.
Not Sure Where to Start?
If you are somewhere between “there is probably nothing wrong” and “this looks bad,” the first step is the same either way. We come out, look at the roof, and tell you what we found. From there it is your call, on your timeline.
